Registration for Tourist Accommodations Extended to September

As of March 21, 2024, all current tourist accommodation registrations will remain valid until September 2024. This means if your property has a valid 2023–24 registration number, you don’t need to do anything to renew or extend your registration until September.

New properties opening between now and September must register for 2023/24 and their registration will be valid until September. They can register online at: https://beta.novascotia.ca/register-your-tourist-accommodation https://beta.novascotia.ca/register-your-tourist-accommodation.

Registration for the 2024/25 season will open by this fall. Operators will receive notice when registration opens and as the updates to the regulations are finalized.
